Wedmore Community Power Co-operative
With the rising cost of energy there have been a number of schemes to find ways to utilise alternative energy sources and provide cost savings for local communities. One of the ways this has been done is to use grazing landand install solar power panels. These provide energy for the local community whilst the surplus can be sold back to the national grid.
WCPC commissioned me to design a prospectus, posters, banners and flyers to promote the share offer and make it look credible. The favoured route, used key facts and figures to support the initiative and the colours were chosen to reflect the 'clean' aspects of the energy. The offer was over subscribed within a week of the launch.
