Zeitgeist '66
Zeitgeist '66 was an event created to commemorate the first ever concert by Pink Floyd in London on September 30th 1966. My client was Mike Laslett O'Brien whose mother Rhaune, was one of the founders of the Notting Hill Carnival. To promote the event, we designed a poster and flyers that were supported by a website.
I worked in collaboration with digital developer, Eamon Brennan. In terms of design, I thought it should pay homage to the imagery of that era as it was a very exciting time in terms of graphic expression and a big influence on my early career. I used found imagery, comic book art and hand drawn motifs.
Posters were produced in four different versions to look like limited edition screen prints.
